Atlantic Canadians in the American Civil War Focus of Presentation at NBMHM

Thousands of Atlantic Canadians took part in the American Civil War (1861-65) a conflict that had a profound effect on how and when Canada became an independent country. In this FREE presentation, Civil War historian Troy Middleton will speak about the many heroes, villains and ordinary men and women from the Maritime colonies of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland who volunteered to serve in the war.

This FREE event takes place at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the NB Military History Museum. The museum is located at 119 Walnut Street Building A-5, CFB Gagetown. All are welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.
